The pelicans are back at the marsh on the Old Merritt Highway. They don't live here, but pass through for feeding.

Weaving Projects

I finished 3 coral chenille scarves with supplementary warp accents. I kept one for myself.  18epi 2/8 and 4/8 cotton with some tencel and orlec threads. Woven with a single strand of chenille. The coral chenille was from Cotton Clouds.

Dewdrop, Tranquille

The other day we went for a hike in the Dewdrop, Tranquille are. The ground was still soft after winter and the grass was just starting to grow.

As seen in our backyard

A red tailed hawk has been trying to make a home in the gully behind our house. Today I got it perusing our (empty) pond. It doesn't get much peace before the neighbourhood crows start harassing it, but it has been hanging around for about 3 weeks.

WIPs Landscape Quilts

I have 5 landscapes of Rocky Mountain scenes underway at the moment.

I finished 10 landscape cards that I made mostly to try out my new sewing machine.
